Entrepreneurship (ENT)

Division: STEM and Business

The Entrepreneurship Certificate, an 18 credit program, offers the knowledge and skills needed to start a new business venture, contribute to a growing enterprise, identify new business opportunities, and/or successfully operate a small company. Students in this program will learn all the components of running an entrepreneurial venture or small business, including planning, organizing, leading and controlling all aspects of a small business organization. They will also develop strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.

 

In addition, communication strategies and business technology are emphasized.  Both oral and written communication skills are integrated into the course work.  Students gain hands-on computer experience: Quickbooks training is provided in.
