HRT110 Plant and Soil Science

A study of the important interactions between soils and growing plants. Basic plant structure, growth, and reproduction are considered along with plant response to environmental conditions. Soil factors affecting plant growth are covered in depth, including texture, structure, organic matter, pH and nutrients. (2 hours of lecture, 2 hours of lab per week)
