BIO142 Biology 2: Introduction to Ecology
The course is an introduction to the basic principles of ecology. It includes population genetics, biodiversity, species interactions, energy cycles and a brief coverage of the major biomes. The laboratory is closely aligned with the lecture materials and includes some fieldwork. Fulfills open, liberal arts, laboratory science, and science electives. (3 hours of lecture, 2 hours of lab per week)
