Additional Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- In order to stay current those working in the field must update their CPR/AED certification every two years.
Advising Notes
This program is intended upon completion to prepare a student for the National Healtchare Association (NHA) Certified EKG Technician (CET). Upon scoring high enough on this exam, students are eligible for entry level employment as an EKG technician.

Students who plan to take the Phlebotomy program are encouraged to take HEA115 Phlebotomy and EKG Career Path, a combined program to save time and money.
