North Shore Community College is an accredited public institute of higher education created by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in 1965 to serve residents living on the North Shore. The College is accredited by NECHE, the New England Commission of Higher Education.

For more than 50 years, NSCC has provided excellent education that is affordable, accessible, and committed to an inclusive, safe and diverse student-centered environment. Our academic and workforce development offerings have since expanded from our original mission to now include two-year associate degrees, one-year credit certificate programs, and innovative noncredit courses in both online and classroom settings.

For students pursuing bachelor’s degrees, NSCC’s transfer programs provide affordable pathways to achieve their goal without incurring unnecessary student debt. NSCC offers generous financial aid and support, including advising, tutoring, career exploration, veterans' resources, accessibility services, opportunities for first-generation students, student life experiences and so much more. Online learning options let you choose a classroom or virtual setting or a little bit of both. Most importantly, NSCC's faculty are dedicated experts who not only teach, but provide learning support along the way.
