MET232 Supply Chain Management
This course provides both an overview of the evolution of supply chain management and an in-depth study of current best practices in industry. The course emphasizes the integrative role of supply chain management within the advanced manufacturing environment, across all business functions and business processes. The course discusses the overall topic from the perspective of purchasing, operations, and logistics, and their interrelationships with customers, suppliers, and intermediaries. Topics will be reinforced through industry examples, case studies, and team-based problem solving activities. (3 hours of lecture per week)
