MET224 Operations Management
This course examines operations management concepts such as process mapping and process development, machine utilization, yields, and cycle time. The course introduces concepts surrounding demand planning and forecasting, decision making, cost reduction, innovation, supply and value chain management, and inventory management. Topics will be reinforced through industry examples, case studies, and team-based problem solving activities. (3 hours of lecture per week)
