MDA203 World Cinema
This course examines world cinema from a perspective of national identity, post-colonialism, cultural imperialism, diaspora, political and cultural displacement. Students are encouraged to reconsider what cinema is and how new ideas, feelings, and worlds come into being outside the dominant Hollywood tradition. Fulfills open, liberal arts and humanities electives.
