MDA201 Media Studies
Students learn about how traditional mass communication industries converge in digital environments. The course examines cultural, political and economic factors that influence media producers, channels, content, and audiences. Students will become more aware of media impact on their personal and professional lives. The course serves as a foundation for those students planning to work in a media field or transfer as a communication major. Fulfills humanities, liberal arts, sociology and open elective(s)
