MAC148 Ambulatory Care in Health and Disease
This course will introduce students to the systems and structural organization of the human body while comparing structure and function across the life span. Students will also be introduced to the CLIA (Clinical Laboratory Improvement, Amendments 1998) waived tests associated with common diseases relative to the ambulatory care setting and the classifications of medications used to treat these diseases including indications for use, desired effects, side effects, and adverse reactions.
