In order to sit for the SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP exam, students must meet the specific educational and work experience requirements:

This program is intended upon completion to prepare a student for the Society of Human Resource Management's (SHRM) Certified Professional (CP) or Senior Certified Professional (SCP) Exam. Upon scoring high enough on this exam, a student is eligible for advancement in their human resource career.
