Commonwealth Commitment Program



The Commonwealth Commitment is a program specifically designed for North Shore Community College students who enroll full time who wish to complete their associate degree and transfer to a bachelor degree granting Massachusetts public state university leveraging Mass Transfer Pathways to enter that receiving university as a junior within their major. Students should follow their Guided Pathway Sheets by their intended transfer major to ensure they are taking the aligned curriculum approved by the public state universities. This program is available in the following pathways through attaining an Associate of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies. Students can select their courses to fulfill their degree with an emphasis on the following four year majors:

Biology
Business
Chemistry
Communications & Media Studies
Computer Science
Criminal Justice
Early Childhood Education
Economics
English
History
Liberal Arts/ General Education
Mathematics
Political Science
Psychology
Sociology
STEM Natural/Physical Sciences
