PTA106 Introduction to Clinical Education
Upon completion of this course, the student should be able to demonstrate pre-clinical competency in clinically relevant topics such as HIPAA regulations, universal precautions, safety regulations and expectations, and the clinical expectations of the PTA program. In addition, the student should be able to describe appropriate and effective therapist/patient interaction and discuss pertinent policies and procedures as they relate to overall clinical education.
