HIS150A History Study-Travel Seminar: World War 1 and European Culture
Examines the intellectual, cultural and social impact of the First World War on Europe thru travel abroad. Explores the prewar atmosphere of Europe, the long-term and immediate causes of war, the multiple experiences of combatants and noncombatants during the war, and the social, literary and cultural movements and ideas emerging from these wartime experiences. Fulfills open, liberal arts, history, social science and humanities electives.
Prerequisite
CMP 101 with C or better and Permission of the instructor.
