CBS101 Introduction to Sustainable Building and Construction Science
Sustainable Building illustrates the design, construction, and operation of high-performance buildings. The course includes an introduction to the US Green Building Council (USGBC) and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED). This course covers a wide range of topics including sustainable sites, energy efficiency, and material selection. Students will also learn the economics of green building and life-cycle assessments. Fulfills open and stem electives.
