AVS104 Advanced Cross-Country Flight Training
Includes approximately 50 hours of flight instruction (dual and solo) covering pre-flight operations, aircraft systems, taxi and ground performance, basic flight maneuvers including takeoffs and landings (normal, soft, and short) stall procedures, emergency operations, cross-country flight, use of radio and navigation equipment under VFR, and control of aircraft by reference to instruments only. This course prepares students for the FAA Private Pilot Practical Flight test. Course restricted to Aviation Science Professional Pilot and Aviation Management majors.
