ACC108 Financial Accounting
Introduction to accounting using financial statements and information as a means of making effective decisions in business entities. Specific topics include Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, the accounting transactions, adjusting accounts, merchandise operations, inventories, cash, internal controls, receivables, current and long-term assets and liabilities. The analysis of formal financial statements will be integrated throughout the course. Computer applications, such as spreadsheets, may be included. Fulfills open electives.
