OTA105 Introduction to Group Process

An activity-based study of group that introduces students to group dynamics and its application to occupational therapy. Emphasis is placed on developing effective communication, team building, types of groups, group activities, and the appreciation of diversity and cultural factors that influence group interaction and function. Students develop and implement activity based groups. (2 hours of lab per week)
