MDA203 World Cinema

This course examines world cinema from a perspective of national identity, post-colonialism, cultural imperialism, diaspora, political and cultural displacement. Students are encouraged to reconsider what cinema is and how new ideas, feelings, and worlds come into being outside the dominant Hollywood tradition.
