CPS226 Computer Organization and Architecture

Introduction to computer organization and architecture. Both hardware and software concepts are considered. Emphasis is on the hardware/software interface. Topics include integrated circuits, machine/assembly language concepts, simple RISC and CISC computers, logic designs, processor design, pipelining, data paths, memory systems, and I/O.
