Professional Education Guided Pathways

North Shore Community College offers 32 professional education certificate and certifications that directly lead to careers or credit programs. North Shore Community College Professional Education programs are planned and developed in response to community and regional needs, and are based on the latest labor market data and regional blueprint. NSCC offers lifelong education through professional education, corporate training, and in credit context, certificate and degree programs.

A Professional Education Guided Pathway Sheet is the structured list of courses recommended by the program faculty for a student to take in order to complete a particular noncredit professional education certification or certification program. These documents have been created to assist students with their course selections.

Professional Education Guided Pathway Sheets also provide key advising information on each program and denote when courses are only offered in certain semesters or are only online. In addition, the Guided Pathway Sheet provides comprehensive information on courses for which credit can be awarded.
