SRG131 Vocational Trends for Surgical Technicians

Designed to teach the students the role of the surgical technologist and the code of ethics and legal issues associated with the operating room. It also provides students the knowledge of how an operating room is managed and reviews the inter-related departments and policies within the hospital. In addition, it prepares students to write a resume, cover letter and a research paper. (15 hours of lecture) This course satisfies open elective requirement.
