RSP102 Fundamentals of Respiratory Care 2
Presents an in-depth exploration of the physiological mechanisms underlying oxygen and carbon dioxide transport in the human body. Students will examine the principles of gas exchange, the role of hemoglobin, and the factors influencing respiratory function. Through case studies, students will learn how to identify and recommend the treatment of acid-base disturbances and apply to patient conditions. In addition, students will gain experience interpreting the results of pulmonary function testing and cardiac testing.
