MAT093 Support for STEM Mathematics
This course is designed to strengthen essential mathematics skills required for success in MAT 151 Precalculus 1. Topics include algebraic operations with real numbers, exponents, polynomials, factoring, rational expressions and equations, radical expressions and equations, complex numbers, solutions of linear and quadratic equations, solutions of linear systems and systems of inequalities. Upon completion, students will have a solid foundation of algebra and will be able to solve real world applications and use appropriate models for analysis.
