HSP111 Events Management
This course provides an in-depth exploration of event planning and management. Students will develop the skills to design, organize, and execute a wide range of events—from conferences and concerts to themed experiences, incentive programs, and guest activities. Emphasis is placed on strategic planning, vendor and talent coordination, menu and catering management, contract negotiation, and creative event design. The course also covers essential topics such as budgeting, risk management, legal considerations, and sustainability in event operations. Through hands-on projects and case studies, students will gain practical experience in producing impactful and memorable events that enhance guest satisfaction and organizational success.
