HIS202 History of Medicine and Public Health
This course introduces students to the global history of medicine from ancient times to the modern period. Students will also analyze historical case studies of public health through cultural lenses such as gender, race, class, and sexuality in order to discover how health and disease both shape and are shaped by societal structures and constructs.
Prerequisite
Communications Proficiency and one of: CMP101 or any Social Science elective or any Humanities elective
