GRA206 Video for Social Media and Beyond
Develop working knowledge of the use of videography and sound principles, best practices, terminology, digital equipment components, lighting, quality criteria, video/sound editing, copyright, and social media posting options. The focus will be creativity, planning, creation, editing and delivery of video formats for social media, online, and website uses. Emphasis is placed on the range of video capture options in studio and on location, usage of models/ releases, ethics in video, and usage rights/copyright. Producing a professional video portfolio will be the capstone requirement of the course.
