ALH164 Pharmacy Technician Procedures

An introductory course designed to train individuals to be competent pharmacy technicians. The course concentrates on drug information, preparation, delivery, and usage. Lecture and lab practice will be combined to adequately cover such topics as: terminology, mathematics and weights/measures as applied to pharmacy practice, aseptic technique, and hospital pharmacy systems. (2 hours of lecture and 2 hours of lab per week)
