MyNorthShore User Guide
The MyNorthShore portal features a tile-based interface, with each tile containing different information and services provide by NSCC.
Logging into the MyNorthShore portal:
Access the NSCC home page at www.northshore.edu and select the “Menu” option at the upper right-hand corner of the page, then select the “MYNORTHSHORE” option in the dark blue rectangle towards the bottom of the menu.
Your username is your first initial followed by up to seven letters of your last name and up to two digits, as well as @northshore.edu (example: jsmith99@northshore.edu)
Your initial password is your college identification #, that can be viewed in your acceptance letter.
Upon first login users will be prompted to set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). For this you will need a smartphone or a FIDO key. Follow the prompts to set up MFA and then you will be asked to create your own password. That password must be at least 12 characters long and include capital and lowercase letters, numbers and symbols.
Important information is sent to all students from the College administration and faculty through MyNorthShore e-mail. Be sure to check it often.
If you do not remember your username, click on the link “Recover your username.” Likewise, if you do not remember your password, click on the link “Reset your password.” You may also make use of the link “Frequently Ask Questions” if you are having difficulty logging in.
If additional help is required you can contact the helpdesk at helpdesk@northshore.edu or (978)-762-4167.
