SRG128 Surgical Technology II

This course is a continuation of Surgical Technology I. This course is a comprehensive study of the principals of intraoperative case management, abdominal incisions, hemostasis, laparoscopic case management, wound healing and closure, dressing, tissue replacement and postoperative case management., emergency situations, and post-operative care of the surgical patient. This course will provide an overview of peri-operative care and how it applies to special populations. This course satisfies open elective requirement.
