LAC100 Basic English as a Second Language I

This course is for students whose first language is not English and who are at the very beginning stage of learning English. All skill areas are taught: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The focus is also on practicing everyday vocabulary and foundational grammatical concepts in preparation for Basic ESL II. Textbook required.Prerequisite: Placement upon initial registration.
