HUS105 Introduction to Public Health

This course is an overview of the historical context, theory principles, concepts and core competencies of public health fundamental practices and approaches from national and international perspectives. The course will also describe the determinants of health from environmental, social, cultural, behavioral and biological perspectives and review the challenges facing health care delivery services and the integration approaches between health and human service systems of care.
