VET214 Clinical Microbiology

An introductory course in microbiology for the animal health technology student. Emphasis is placed upon those areas that are important within veterinary hospital laboratory: specimen handling, culture techniques, selective culturing techniques, staining, and sensitivity testing. (2 hours of lecture, 4 hours of lab per week)
