ECE103 Supporting the Young Child's Physical and Mental Health

Students completing this course should be able to: provide experience in nutrition, motor development, and health care for young children based on their knowledge of the young child's developmental needs and the principles of curriculum development; design accident free environments and experiences for young children based on their developmental needs; identify children under stress and utilize methods designed to promote their mental health during these life crises; knowledge of first aid procedures.
