BIO142 Introduction to Ecology

The course is an introduction to the basic principles of ecology. It includes population genetics, biodiversity, species interactions, energy cycles and a brief coverage of the major biomes. The laboratory is closely aligned with the lecture materials and includes some fieldwork. Fulfills open, liberal arts, laboratory science, and science electives.
