ESL064 Intermediate ESL Reading and Vocabulary 2

Students increase reading comprehension ability using a variety of materials and methods. Emphasis is on building vocabulary through learning "guessing material from context" skills, word analysis, and dictionary skills. Students also learn a variety of additional reading skills such as skimming for main idea and scanning for specific information. This course satisfies no elective requirements. (3 hours of lecture per week)
